För de som planerar att göra mp_carentan till CoD4 kan det vara smart att patcha CoD4 Mod Tools till version 1.1. Notera att du som är (o)lycklig ägare av Windows Vista kan fortsatt inte använda dig av Mod Tools, dvs om du inte har en förbannad tur och får det att fungera i "XP compartibility mode".

"As always, please check the Mod Tools Download and Revision History IWiki page for the most recently updated revisions and updates. However, we already have a small update for the Mod Tools to address and fix for shader_bin error in CoD4Radiant and CoD4EffectsEd.

Please download the following zip and unzip in the same directory as the tools, overwriting any necessary files.

Note: After downloading the update, you should delete the shader_bin copies made as a work around (if any). Since there are lots of files in shader_bin, it will slow down file operations if you have copies of them."
